Showtime

Franco photographed the intriguing going-ons for over ten years front and back stage and portrays designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Wolfgang Joop, Christian Lacroix, Stéphane Rolland, Albert Kriemler and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac during the preparations for the next show in their studios.

The book exudes the energy of these fascinating moments and reflects the exciting atmosphere and the rhythm of a runway show. «Showtime» is after «Essence» (awarded with the German Photo Book Prize) Franco's second book.

Knowing how to capture a look, a gesture, a movement or an emotion with just one click is no accident. It is Franco's incredible ability to seize the moment by trusting his instinct.
