I meet Alfredo Häberli in his studio, where he has thousands of small and colourful objects neatly lined up on racks and walls. There is even a beautiful skiff hanging from the ceiling; a gift from him to himself. When I propose to photograph his hands with one of his creations, he chooses a small yellow leather elephant. And by doing so, reveals that amongst all his works, he likes children’s toys the most. Why? Because children give an immediate feedback on whether something is good or bad.
